This epic day begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation to head to Ollantaytambo. There, you will embark on a train journey to Aguas Calientes, passing through spectacular Andean mountain scenery and the enigmatic Amazonian cloud forest. Along the way, you will witness majestic glaciers, snow-capped peaks and fertile green fields, as well as ancient Inca terraces lining the valley.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will travel by bus directly to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. There, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours, immersing yourself in the rich culture and history of this ancient citadel. You will explore the main architectural sectors while you connect with nature and marvel at the grandeur of this sacred place. You will be impressed by the ingenious architecture and vision of the ancient Incas.
After the guided tour, you will have the option to ascend Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, if you have reserved your tickets in advance (not included in the tour). In the afternoon, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the charming town before heading to the train station.
Back in Ollantaytambo, you will board the train that will take you back to Cusco, where our private transportation will be waiting to take you directly to your accommodation. The arrival time will depend on the departure time of your train, so get ready for an unforgettable experience in Machu Picchu!

If necessary, we’ll evacuate you from the path as quickly as possible and ensure that you arrive at a clinic for treatment.
